Explore Himalaya is an adventure travel and outdoor agency based in Nepal and specialized in trekking/hiking trips, peak climbing and mountaineering expeditions, 4WD overland tours, biking and safari tour. We deliver trips of a lifetime in the Himalayas (Nepal, Tibet, India and Bhutan).

We are an adventure travel and outdoors organization based in Nepal specialising in mountain climbing, ‘off-the-beaten’ track adventure holidays, 4WD overland tours, white water rafting, mountain biking. We operate comprehensively in Nepal and Tibet and also run special interest tours to India, Bhutan and China.

The Company was founded in 1997 by Mr. Suman Pandey, who is a renowned personality of the Nepalese Tourism Industry. He has a wide experience of Travel and Tour operation in the Himalaya with his two decades of involvement in this trade. He was currently nominated as an executive member of the Nepal Tourism Board by the Govt. of Nepal, also held the post of President of Trekking Agent Association of Nepal (TAAN) from 2001 to 2003.

In Tibet, we have our own team of highly qualified tourism professionals, who specialize in traveling in the area. The office staff has all been trained through our office in Kathmandu and our guides have many years experience in the field. Besides, we work in closest of relationships with the best local operators in Bhutan & India.
